On the 3rd of December 2018, the Ambassador of the United States of America in the Republic of Serbia, Kyle Scott, as well as Cultural Attache Michael Brooke and members of the US delegation, attended the Adventure in the Balkans 1915 book promotion, named after a manuscript of the same name, written by Douglas Dold, an American and member of the Columbia Relief Expedition to Serbia from the Columbia University during 1915. The book ''Adventure in the Balkans'' was written for the commemoration of the one hundred year anniversary of the end of the First World War and the unification of the territories of Vojvodina with the Kingdom of Serbia in 1918.
On the 30th of November 2018, a workshop titled ''Preventive conservation of archival holdings and registry materials'' was held in the Archive of Serbia, organized by the Conservator Society of Serbia. A Workshop with the same topic was held in the Interregional Historical Archives of Čačak, one week earlier.
As part of the Treaty of Cooperation between the Archives of Vojvodina and the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, at the laboratory for conservation and restoration of archival holdings of the Archives of Vojvodina, a professional training course commenced for master's students of the Conservation and Restoration of the Works of Fine and Applied Arts program of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad during the winter semester 2018/2019.
