An Activist from the Union of Blind and Partially Sighted Persons visits the Archives of Vojvodina

Today on the 18th of January 2019, Vladan Petrović, an activist from the Union of Blind and Partially Sighted Persons of Vojvodina, visited the Archives of Vojvodina. He spoke about the possibilities of using the cultural content aka archival holdings, for the blind and partially sighted people.

There is a computer, in the Archives of Vojvodina research room, that stores digitized vital records (of birth, baptism, marriage and death) which citizens can use to conduct research into their family origins and other topics. It was determined that the computer should be adapted with software, for the needs of the blind and partially sighted people as well as installing sound options, in order for all interested participants to be able to research vital records aka archival holdings.
