Director of the Slovak High School Visits the Archives of Vojvodina


Today on the 7th of March 2019 the Archives of Vojvodina were visited by Mrs. Ana Medveđ, Director of the Slovak High School ”Jan Kollar” with a Students Dormitory from Bački Petrovac.

Future cooperation, concerning an exhibition relating to the 100 years since the founding of the high school in 1919, was established with the Director of the Archvies of Vojvodina Dr. Nebojša Kuzmanović.

Dr. Nebojša Kuzmanović took the opportunity to give the Director a framed copy of the founding document, or more precisely, a decree dating to the 15th of October 1919, whereby the Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes approved the building of the first Slovak High School in the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes.

The Slovak High School ”Jan Kollar” with a Students Dormitory, has 288 students and 14 classes.
