The Ambassador of the USA at a Exhibition of Archival Documents at the Archives of Vojvodina
On the 29th of November 2018, the Ambassador of the United States of America in the Republic of Serbia, Kyle Scott, Cultural Attache Michael Brooke, Public Affairs Counselor Timothy Standaert as well as members of the US delegation visited the Archives of Vojvodina and had a look at the ''Avantura na Balkanu 1915'' (Adventure in the Balkans 1915) exhibition of archival documetns, named after a manuscript of the same name written by an American Douglas Dold, member of the Columbia Relief Expedition to Serbia from the Columbia University during 1915. The exhibition was organized to commemorate the one hundred year anniversary of the end of the First World War and the unification of the territories of Vojvodina with the Kingdom of Serbia in 1918.
On the 27th of November 2018 representatives of the Archives of Vojvodina, archivist-conservator of archival holdings Višnja Nikolić, MA, conservator-restorer Maja Jokmanović and archivist Šarlota Kartag, MA, participated in the ''Deacidification of Archival Documents - Methods of Protection of Numerous Archival Holdings'' organized by the Budapest City Archives.
On the 27th of November 2018, in the building of the Old Assembly in Kragujevac, a roundtable meeting was held under the title ''Jovan Ristić, državnik i diplomata - Berlinski kongres, 140 godina od međunarodnog priznanja i nezavisnosti Srbije'' (Jovan Ristić, statesman and diplomat - Congress of Berlin, 140 years since international recognition and independence of Serbia) organized by the Historical Archives of Šumadija in Kragujevac.
Today on the 22nd of November, the Archives of Vojvodina presented two exhibitions of digital archival documents that are available to both experts and the general public on the Archives of Vojvodina web portal under the title ''The First World War and the unification of the territories of Vojvodina with the Kingdom of Serbia 1918''.
