Today on the 6th of March 2019 the Archives of Vojvodina were visited by the Director of the State Archives of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Kiril Petrov, together with his associates.
Future cooperation between these two institutions was established, after a conversation with the Director of the Archives of Vojvodina Dr. Nebojša Kuzmanović, via an agreement signing.
The State Archives of the Republic of North Macedonia oversees the work of 9 archives located in: Tetovo, Ohrid, Bitolj, Veles, Štip, Kumanovo, Prilep, Skoplje and Strumica.
After the meeting, our colleagues from the State Archives of the Republic of North Macedonia were introduced to the organizational work of the Archives, the principles for using archival holdings, whereby they also saw the Reading Room, Laboratory for Conservation and Restoration as well as the depots were the fonds of the Archives of Vojvodina are stored.
