On Tuesday the 28th of March 2023, a delegation from the Archives of Vojvodina (the Director of the Archives of Vojvodina Dr. Nebojša Kuzmanović, Assistant Director Kristijan Obšust and digitization operative Vladimir Mučibabić) had a meeting with the Head of the Department of Social Studies and Ethnology of the Faculty of Arts of the ”Matej Bel” University in Banská Bystrica (Slovak Republic) Mgr. Roman Hofreiter, PhD.
As part of the meeting, not including the presentation of the main and project activities of the Archives of Vojvodina and the introduction to the activities of the Department, strategic cooperation was agreed upon with regard to the following: an exchange of experts, as well as students, for special training courses for archivists in order to exchange experiences; the realization of joint projects and applying for funds in organizations on the territory of the Republic of Serbia and the Slovak Republic, as well as jointly applying for international projects and funds; joint scientific and research initiatives; organizing joint events (exhibitions, conferences, consultations and professional training); enabling access to archival records in order to conduct research in accordance with the rules concerning the use of archival records of the Archives; an exchange of publications and scholarly literature, as well as the participation of experts as lecturers on scientific and professional conferences that are organized by the Department or the Archives.
