On Tuesday the 28th of March 2023, a delegation from the Archives of Vojvodina (the Director of the Archives of Vojvodina Dr. Nebojša Kuzmanović, Assistant Director Kristijan Obšust and digitization operative Vladimir Mučibabić) attended a meeting at the State Archives in Banská Bystrica (Štátny archív v Banskej Bystrici) in the Slovak Republic with the Director of this prestigious institution Mgr. Lucia Dimošova and her associates.
On this occasion, apart from the presentation of the main and project activities of the Archives of Vojvodina and the visit to the State Archives in Banská Bystrica, strategic cooperation was agreed upon with this institution that includes the following: Inter-archival, scientific and educational cooperation with the goal of mutual exchange of experience of archivists and other experts and conservators in the field of application of new technologies for the protection and preservation of archival records; organization of mutual visits by archivists and experts; realization of joint projects and applying for funds in organizations on the territory of the Republic of Serbia and the Slovak Republic, as well as jointly applying for international projects and funds; organizing joint events (exhibitions, conferences, consultations and professional training); enabling access to archival records in order to conduct research, in accordance with existing regulations concerning their use, in both countries and in accordance with the rules concerning research in archives; researching archival records concerning specific topics that are of interest for one of the Archives; exchange of copies (microfilm, scanned documents and digital recordings); exchange of publications and the participation of archivists as lecturers on scientific conferences organized by one of the Archives.
