Today on the 6th of February 2019, the Archives of Vojvodina were visited by Dr. Veljko Đurić, Director of the Museum of Genocide Victims in Belgrade, together with his professional assistant Bojan Arbutina.
Together with the Director of the Archives of Vojvodina, Dr. Nebojša Kuzmanović, future cooperation was established between the Archives of Vojvodina and the Museum of Genocide Victims in the form of an agreement. Likewise, cooperation on a common project – publication of the ”Encyclopedia of ISC Genocide”, was established, whereby scholarly institutions, both foreign and domestic, will take part in.
Collecting, processing and ensuring usability of the data concerning the genocide, in one common publication, is planned in order to solidify the memory of the victims of the genocide against Serbs, Jews and Roma as well as members of other nations and minorities.
A possible date for the completion of this joint publication of the ”Encyclopedia of ISC Genocide” is 2023.
