The text of the letter of thanks from the Office for the Government of the Slovak Republic states the following:

Dear Mr. Kuzmanović,

Permit me to, on behalf of the Slovak Republic, thank you for the long-term work that you do. I respect your scholarly work and the publications that you put out as well as your personal devotion. I consider it a great contribution in the sense of drawing attention to the Slovak Republic in Serbia and abroad. In the Republic of Serbia there are many members of the Slovak national minority that have created their own indigenous culture that is fully developing and that remains strong even today. I am especially glad that you personally, as well as the work done by the Archives of Vojvodina, give great attention to present and make known the Slovak national community in the Republic of Serbia, in the sense of preserving its national identity and awareness about their ethnic Slovak roots for the members of the Slovak national minority. I would especially like to thank you for your engagement since now the Slovaks in Serbia are viewed as a developed minority that respects its ethnic roots, maintains its traditions and, together with others, is developing its professional tendencies and creativity. I’m pleased to see that today, in the Republic of Serbia, the Slovaks represent a completely integrated minority which, in its own way, greatly enriches the multicultural mosaic of the AP Vojvodina and the Republic of Serbia. I wish you good health, optimism and to be in high spirits during your future activities.

Sincerely, Eduard Heger

The Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic
