On Thursday the 30th of March 2023, a delegation from the Archives of Vojvodina (the Director of the Archives of Vojvodina Dr. Nebojša Kuzmanović, Assistant Director Kristijan Obšust and digitization operative Vladimir Mučibabić) attended a meeting at the Office of the Government of the Slovak Republic. The delegation from the Archives of Vojvodina was received by the Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic for the Policy Concerning the Slovak Diaspora Ms. Iveta Galbavá. The meeting was also attended by Mária Blažeková from the Advisory Department for the Office for the Slovak Republic Government as well as a representative of the Department of Archive Studies and Museology of the Faculty of Arts of the University in Bratislava (D. Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave, Filozofická fakulta UK, Katedra archívnictva a muzeológie) Doc. Ľuboš Kačírek.
During the meeting, discussions were held concerning cultural policies between the Republic of Serbia and the Slovak Republic with a special focus given to the cooperation between the Archives of Vojvodina and cultural institutions as well as scientific institutions in the Slovak Republic. Among other things, preliminary cooperation was agreed upon between the Archives of Vojvodina and the Department of Archive Studies and Museology of the Faculty of Arts of the University in Bratislava. Apart from the aforementioned, Assistant Director of the Archives of Vojvodina Kristijan Obšust was named as a member of a team of experts for the Government of the Slovak Republic, whose head is the Advisor to the Prime Minister Iveta Galbavá and which deals with issues concerning the Slovak diaspora, meaning that he was named as an expert advisor in the field of Slovak diaspora in the Republic of Serbia and in the field of cultural policies between the Republic of Serbia and the Slovak Republic.
