Director of the Archives of Vojvodina Dr. Nebojša Kuzmanović participated, together with his associates, in the celebration of a day devoted to archives. Today, in the Archive of Serbia, a celebration took place in honor of the Day of Archives in Serbia, and likewise as the 120th anniversary of the founding of the Archive of Serbia took place, the exhibition ”Svetlost arhiva” (Light of the Archive) was opened and in the same manner the ”Zlatna arhiva” (Golden Archive) award from the Aleksandar Arnautović Foundation and the yearly award from the Đurđe, Danica and Jovanka Jelenić Foundation were given away.
The ”Golden Archive” award of the Aleksandar Arnautović Foundation was given to academic Vasilije Đ. Krestić and the Historical Archives Kragujevac, while the yearly award of the Đurđe, Danica and Jovanka Jelenić Foundation was given to Dr. Srđan Mićić for the book titled ”Od birokratije do diplomatije. Istorija jugoslovenske diplomatske službe 1918 – 1939” (From the Bureaucracy to the Diplomacy. History of the Yugoslav Diplomatic Service 1918 – 1939).
The exhibition ”Light of the Archives” was opened by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Serbia Vladan Vukosavljević. This exhibition presents the archival holdings that testify about the work of the institution as well as the choice of important documents that are kept in the Archive of Serbia – Charter of King Stefan Uroš III Dečanski from 1330, Regulations for the leather corporation of Arsenije Čarnojević from 1697, Sretenje Constitution from 1835, the Trukish plan for Belgrade from the 19th century, the Turkish Constitution from 1838, a manuscript from the Memoirs of archpriest Mateja Nenadović, as well as the telegram in which Austro-Hungary declared war on Serbia on the 28th of June 1914.ав из 1835. године, Турски план Београда из 19. века, Турски устав из 1838. године, рукопис Мемоара проте Матеје Ненадовића, телеграм објаве рата Аустроугарске Србији 28. јула 1914. године.
