"Novi Sad 2021" Fondation organized a Networking Event
"Novi Sad 2021" Fondation organized a meeting of the European Capital of Culture cities and the candidate cities for this title from the surrounding region (Elefsina, Plovdiv, Rijeka, Matera, Timisoara, Debrecen, Banja Luka, Mostar and Tirana) on Thursday 12th of July starting at 5 p.m. in the Eđšeg Castle in Novi Sad.
Archivist from the Archives of Vojvodina Ljiljana Bubnjević attended this event which was organized in order to create connections between local participants and international partners, as well as to exchange contacts and concider possible ways of co-operation with the representatives of the European Capital of Culture.
"Kištelek – Kanjiža" Conference – the Assembley of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina
The representatives of the Archives of Vojvodina, Director Dr. Nebojša Kuzmanović, archivists Žužana Mezei and Ljiljana Bubnjević, attended a conference on Thursday 12th of July 2018 which was held in the hall of the Assembley of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in Novi Sad, due to the launching of the project "Kištelek – Kanjiža additional tourist development based on natural resources as a connection between different elements of the regional tourist system – OASIS". The project is being co-financed by European Union funds, in the frames of IPA Interreg cross-border program Hungary – Serbia 2014–2020, with the aim of advancing tourist potentials of border areas through the improvement and diversification of the touristic offer. Partners on the project are the Provincial Secretariat for Education, Regulations, Administration and National Minorities – National Communities, Kištelek District, Kanjiža Municipality and European Affairs Fund of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.
Conference of the the Hungarian Association of Archivists in Pécs
From the 8th to 11th July 2018, the three-day Annual Conference of the Hungarian Association of Archivists in Pécs was held. Among the participants there was the delegation of the Archives of Vojvodina, Director Dr. Nebojša Kuzmanović and archivists Žužana Mezei and Šarolta Kartag. The subject of the Conference this year was Accessibility of Archival Records – Archives and the Public. Appart from professional advancement, the Conference also provided the possibility for archivists from the region to further develop their co-operation. There were more than 250 participants from Hungary, Austria, Poland, Ukraine, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia and Croatia.
